Your Half Day Hunt includes:

Reduced rate accommodations in Chetola Lodge, The Bob Timberlake Inn or a Chetola Condominium Breakfast each day for guests staying in Chetola Lodge and The Bob Timberlake Inn
- Transportation from Chetola Resort to Covey Hollar Preserve
- A professional bird hunting guide
- Hunting for Quail, Chukar or Pheasant (or a combination of all three)
- Refreshments
- Return transportation from Covey Hollar Preserve to Chetola Resort.
What You Need to Know about your Hunt

Not having your own shotgun is not a problem. Gun rental is available for $20.00 per person
- You are required to wear an orange hunting cap. If you forget to bring one, safety caps are available for purchase at the Reserve.
- Children are welcome but must be supervised by an adult at all times.
- The following costs are not included in the Wing Shooting Package Price: Room tax, NC Preserve hunting license (can secure the day of the hunt), shotgun rental (optional), orange safety cap, gratuities, and field dressing the birds.
- Your half day hunt includes 30 quail, 18 Chukar or 10 Pheasants.
- Combination hunts are available as follows:
- 16 Quail and 4 Pheasants, 4 Chukar
- 22 Quail and 10 Chukar
- 6 Pheasants and 12 Chukar
- Hunting dogs include English Setters, English Pointers and German Shorthairs
- Birds are field dressed at the Preserve by your guide for $1.00 per bird
- A NC Preserve Hunting License is about $15.
- Gratuities for your guide are not included but are greatly appreciated.
Half Day Hunt Schedule
(all times are approximate)

8:30 - 9:00 am - Depart Chetola Resort to Covey Hollar Preserve. Transportation provided by your hunting guide.
- 8:45 - 9:30 am - Arrive at Covey Hollar for 3 hours of bird hunting. Receive a brief safety orientation and description of what to expect on your hunt.
- 12:00 - 12:30 pm - Leave Covey Hollar for return trip to Chetola Resort

Cast and Blast Packages
