

Enjoy a half-day of spectacular fly fishing at The Refuge, a fishing paradise, hidden along the banks of Boone Fork Creek. Boone Fork Creek is a Catch and Release-only stream that starts at Price Lake dam off the Blue Ridge Parkway. It is located at the Headwaters of the Holston River Watershed at an altitude of 3,500 feet on the Eastern Continental Divide. Fish on pristine, private waters with the highest water classification in the state.
Stay in Chetola Lodge, The Bob Timberlake Inn or a spacious condominium. Package prices January - April 2012 start at $398 weekdays and $413 weekends.
Here is how your fly fishing adventure will unfold. All times are approximate. Schedule
- 8:00am -- Depart Chetola Resort for the Refuge.
- 8:20-8:30am -- Arrive at the Refuge on Boone Fork Creek
- Brief familiarization with equipment (rods and flies)
- Fish for Brook, Brown, Rainbow and Golden Trout
- Refreshments Provided while Fishing
- 12:30pm -- Half-Day Trips Concluded; Return to Chetola Resort
- Transportation is provided

Rods and flies are provided. You may also bring your own equipment.
General Information
- Fishing at the Refuge is classified for Single Hook, Artificial Fly and Catch and Release
- We suggest you bring a pair of dry shoes, boots or waterproof waders
- Don't forget your camera!
- The grounds of The Refuge are a registered National Wildlife Habitat.
- Breakfast is included for Chetola Lodge and Bob Timberlake Inn guests.

Fly Fishing and Wing Shooting
Combine our Fly Fishing Package with our Wing Shooting Package for the ultimate outdoor adventure. Spend a half or full day fly fishing and spend a half or full day hunting quail, chukar and/or pheasant at Covey Hollar Preserve. Cast and Blast packages are available October 5, 2011 through March 31, 2012 and start at $580 per person with accommodations and $425 without accommodations, each based on a minimum of two (2) people Wing Shooting.
