Maintain and improve your physical health by attending our new fitness classes and personal training programs. Whether your goal is to lose weight, increase strength and endurance, improve your self image or just feel better in general, our fitness and training programs are designed for varied fitness levels.

Fitness Classes

Aqua Dance

A low-impact workout filled with fun and music designed to get the heart pumping while strengthening and stretching muscles.

Boot Camp

A full body workout featuring cardio and strength training exercises held on Chetola’s beautiful grounds.

Fitness Hike

A blend of hiking, full body strengthening and flexibility exercises on the neighboring Moses Cones Trails.

Pilates

A series of exercises performed on a mat with emphasis on integrating all the muscles of the body with all movement originating from the core. Pilates helps create long, lean muscles, and improves flexibility, balance and muscle control. All levels are welcome. Class meets in the fitness/yoga studio.

Yoga

An eclectic blend of Eastern and Western approaches to stetching. Classes include postures that strengthen, tone and increase flexibility through a slow, gentle approach that emphasizes alignment.

Yoga Hike

A hike to increase heat in the body while building strength and flexibility through Yoga postures. Hiking takes place on the beautiful Moses Cone Trails located next door to Chetola.

Quick Fit

A 50-minute total body workout combining cardio, strength-training and flexibility. Exercises will be modified to meet all fitness levels. Classes will gather at the Recreation Desk. If the weather is nice, class will be held outside; otherwise, class will be held in the fitness studio or the gym.

Zumba

These classes feature exotic rhythms set to high-energy Latin and international beats. Before participants know it, they're getting fit and their energy levels are soaring! It's easy to do, effective and totally exhilarating.
